Endless Opportunities 8th Grade Career Day (October 18-19, 2018)


This hands-on career opportunities day held in October will be for students from Morgan, Limestone and Lawrence Counties and Cities, as well as area private schools. The day will feature area employers showcasing the work they do through various hands-on activities such as, 3M's wizard science experience, building their own rockets with ULA, programming Calhoun's robots, TVTC's fire simulators, and many more. Based on the results of the students' career exploration test given prior to the event, students will focus on careers that fit with their interests and skills. This is a fun and exciting way to get over 3,000 students interested in learning and exploring all the career opportunities available to them. Two day event held at Ingall's Harbor Pavilion. **Chamber will invoice for all contracts and payment must be paid in full or other arrangements for payment must be made prior to fulfillment of sponsorships.
