  The Chamber’s Annual Golf Tournament is a popular event for networking with business leaders, their clients and customers. The tournament is held in May at the beautiful Lakewood Golf Club in Point Clear. The event kicks off with a team party the night before. The party and the tournament provide maximum exposure for the event’s sponsors and maximum fun and relaxation for participants. One thousand dollars plus a percentage of the tournament proceeds benefits the Eastern Shore Chamber Youth Leadership Program.

• 2009 Business Academy

  The annual Eastern Shore Chamber Business Academy is a series of events held throughout the year. The goals of this program are to provide quality professional development opportunities focused on the needs of the Eastern Shore's small business community, to provide current information on topics of interest to business and to provide additional networking opportunities for the Chamber's membership. • Eastern Shore Youth Leadership

  The Eastern Shore Chamber Youth Leadership consists of 2 programs, an intensive seven-month program for 40 students and Student Leadership 101, a 3 hour workshop for officers and members of clubs and organizations and specialized academic programs such as International Baccalaureate. The seven month program runs September through April and designed to provide area high school students with the opportunity to gain the skills they will need to become engaged, productive community leaders and citizens The group meets monthly from September - February, then works in teams to develop small group projects on pertinent community issues. Monthly activities include the Opening Retreat, 4 topical seminar days, 2 community service days, a Ropes Course and Closing Retreat/Graduation Ceremony. Student Leadership 101 is offered at the 3 Eastern Shore public high schools and Bayside Academy. The program was initiated in 2007and during its first year, over 120 students participated in the program.
