Agribusiness/Bioscience Committee
The Agribusiness/Bioscience Committee promotes value added agriculture and bioscience development in Johnson County by serving as a communication and education network to the agricultural community and the chamber membership. The committee meets the second Tuesday of the month. The committee also hosts the Agribusiness/Bioscience Breakfast series, which features speakers on current topics in agriculture and bioscience (40-50 attendance) and the Agribusiness/Bioscience Tour, which visits sites related to agribusiness/biosciences in Johnson County and the surrounding areas (25-30 attendance). Past tour sites have included Washington Countybio-diesel plant, Integrated DNA Technologies and Kinze Manufacturing. Members of the Agribusiness/Bioscience Committee also select the Farm Youth Scholarships and Honored Farm Family Award for A Toast to Our Communities awards ceremony in the fall.

Community Leadership Program (CLP) 2010 - 2011
The Community Leadership Program (CLP) is an innovative community-building initiative of the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce. The program is designed to motivate emerging leaders and develop their potential for leadership by acquainting them with the issues, dynamics, opportunities, realities and challenges within our community. Community Leadership Program Alumni Association

Corridor Day at the Capitol
