Manufacturing Day - NEW!

Manufacturing Month is a celebration of modern manufacturing to inspire the next generation. Thousands of manufacturers across the nation celebrate with open houses, public tours, etc. The Montgomery Chamber, along with the City of Montgomery and Montgomery County, have teamed up with Montgomery Public Schools to show students at Montgomery Preparatory Academy for Career Technologies (MPACT) that manufacturing careers are not only needed but cool! There are many manufacturing careers that are well paid, technical and in demand. With this program, we expose students to the many opportunities that exist within manufacturing. Highlighted Manufacturing Tours are held throughout the month of October. Last year's event was a hit with the students! With the 2016-2017 school year, the first for MPACT at ONE Center, there will be a lot of excitement generated within the school system and the public. Several tours are provided throughout the month and breakfast is provided for approximately 500 students.
