With the rapid growth of the Montgomery Internet Exchange (MGMix) and soon-to-be-opened MGMWERX (the Air Force and Department of Defense innovation center at 41 Commerce Street), alongside a rising tide of creative and social entrepreneurship in the capital city, Montgomery is gaining recognition as a hub for technology, innovation and creativity. InnovateMGM is a day-long celebration of creatives, risk-takers, and innovators from around Central Alabama and beyond. Through a series of collaborative events bringing together Montgomery's most pioneering public and private organizations, InnovateMGM features talks, meet-ups, workshops, tours, a hack-a-thon and networking opportunities that inform, integrate, and celebrate Montgomery's techies, creatives, and innovators.
