NEW! Windsor Heights Earth Day

Earth Day April 20th, 2024: The City of Windsor Heights will be celebrating Earth Day by hosting an event in the Colby Park Community Center that centers on sustainability practices and earth -friendly activities for the community.

Participants will receive a Live Monarch native wildflower seed packet or live plant on a first-come-first-serve basis. Last year was our first year for this event and we had over 350 people in attendance.  All sponsors will be recognized on Earth Day social media posts that are created for the event.  Earth Day is also promoted on Catch DSM, Cumulus Radio, area schools and churches as well as on Next Door. We invite all of our business sponsors to attend the event and include a table where the business can volunteer at the event they sponsored.
