NEW! Windsor Heights Veterans Day

Windsor Heights is proud to be home to over 130 veterans.  There were over 85 attendees of our Veterans Day event in 2023.  We are excited to show support and appreciation to these members of our community through our annual Veterans Day celebration on November 11, 202 at the Colby Park Community Event Center (6900 School Street). 

The event is a two hour catered luncheon for the veterans and their plus one.  During the lunch we will have a keynote speaker, a chance for veterans to share their stories, branch pictures and a raffle with prizes for the veterans.  To fully involve the community in an opportunity to show their support, we are also partnering with area elementary schools, middle, high schools and daycares to provide personalized cards and placements.  The Boy Scouts will be performing the Flag Ceremony.  We will have an elementary class attending the event and singing to the veterans.
