2023 Student To Entrepreneur Program ( S.T.E.P.)

The Clayton Chamber of Commerce Students to Entrepreneurs Program (STEP) is a year-long program that teaches High School Sophomores and Juniors how to develop their own unique product, service, or idea.

STEP guides high school students through the process of starting and running a legitimate business over the course of a full year.

Each participating student will be paired with a mentor who helps them develop their project throughout the year. At the end of the program, each student will have the opportunity to present their product/service/idea to a panel of judges for a chance to win one of three cash prizes.

The entire program will culminate with a STEP Showcase at the 2023 Harvest Festival, at which a People's Choice Award will be given.
