Cash Mobs originally stemmed from flash mobs - a group of people who meet at a predetermined time and location and perform a dance number as a group around unsuspecting people.
However, with Cash Mobs, instead of performing a song or dance, CCOC's Ambassadors and staff will visit a local, independent business and spend $20 to help boost that business's sales.
