Through support of this effort, we have been able to support the base with a number of activities and initiatives including our Military Affairs Dinners, the State of the Base Luncheon, Robins Cup, scholarships for the Leadership Robins Region program, support for the First Sergeants' Association & the Airman's Ministry Center, over 600 Right Start Welcome Packets for military members and their families that have just moved to our community, dorm items for new enlisted airmen, and more. Most recently, we have worked with the 402 Software Engineering Group to provide bags including information about the community and coupons to local restaurants, tickets to local events, and information about area attractions to help to welcome, acclimate, and help retain the 200 new hires starting on base in June. Our Military Champions help to continue these efforts so that our community is a welcoming and supportive place for the men and women who serve our country while stationed at Robins AFB.
