The Knox County Watermelon Festival is a nod to Knox County's rich agriculture background. Falling on the first full weekend in August, this festival draws attendees from all over the state. Festival goers enjoy arts & craft vendors, classic fair food trucks, live entertainment, and feature events!

The Knox County Watermelon Festival features classic events like the Miss Watermelon Pageants, Seed Spitting contest, Watermelon Toss, and Watermelon Eating contest. For 2022, we're adding in these new, exciting events: Watermelon Business Carving contest and the Tractor Show!
