EVENTS:
Small Business Week Block Party - This Block Party will be a celebration and thank you to our local small business and entrepreneur community for the impact they make on our local economy. Small businesses are the backbone of the River Region and make up 90% of our membership, so we want to honor and celebrate them and the accomplishments they've made to build a better MGM.
Small Business Success Summit - The Inaugural One-Day Small Business Success Summit will be the premier business conference of 2020, and will inform, engage, educate and inspire entrepreneurs and business owners in MGM and the River Region. The summit will host keynote speakers and breakout sessions on a variety of timely topics that affect business owners and managers.
In addition, there will be resource partners on site (resource trade show) to answer specific questions related to your business. Attendees will also have time to network and establish strategic partnerships.
Small Business Series - "Top 5" For Your Business - The Top Five series will feature local business experts in human resources, marketing, accounting, IT and others, who
will introduce and discuss five things, related to a certain topic, that will help small businesses and entrepreneurs be more successful in their business. This series will be held twice during Small Business Week.
WORKSHOPS:
Creative SideHustle Workshop - This workshop will teach creative, maker, and crafter entrepreneurs how to take their hobby or sidehustle and turn it into a business or scale the business they currently have. It will also explain how to create order pipelines and leverage technology to grow and scale their business or product.
Freelancer Free for All - This unique networking and relationship building event connects the local freelancer community to the small businesses that need them.
Business Scaling Workshop - This workshop features a panel of small business experts who discuss and explain how to take your business to the next level.
