Manufacturing Month - October 2018

Every December, the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce partners with the City of Montgomery, Montgomery County Commission, the Industrial Development Board of Montgomery and local media to celebrate the achievements of our existing manufacturing industry and their contributions to the River Region. Existing industries who have grown and expanded throughout the calendar year are recognized during a press conference at the Chamber and then three to four of the industries are selected for the bus tour. A 15-minute press conference is also held at each of the sites to highlight their successes. Tour attendees include Montgomery Mayor, City Council members, Montgomery County Commission members, Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce leadership, as well as other city, county and state officials, area business leaders and members of the media. The press conference and tour is designed to show appreciation to Montgomery's existing manufacturers and their continued contributions to Montgomery and the economy. Visitor Center Static Ads

Visitor Center Advertising Panels

Gain exposure and drive business through a targeted marketing effort. Historic Union Station is the centerpiece of the city's riverfront and home to the Montgomery Area Visitor Center. The Visitor Center offers a wide variety of services, including a video on the region, a gift shop and a professional staff that demonstrates what southern hospitality is all about. The ad panels are placed all around the Visitor Center and are visible to the 50,000+ visitors who come through each year. The Chamber's Convention & Visitor Bureau has creative control over the panels and has the right to refuse it if deemed offensive or inappropriate. The ads will run February 1-January 31 of each year. Artwork is due by January 1.
